Abraham (Albert) BOTBOL (b. 1877, d. 1950) married Hanna MIMRAN (b. 1880, d. 1967).

Abraham did his military service in the French army.

Abraham and Hanna had six children.

  1. Charles BOTBOL (b. 22 December 1895, d. 1965) married Sete SISSO (b. 1910, d. 1995?)

  2. Marie Myriam BOTBOL (b. 1902, d. 1968) married Machlouf DAHAN.

  3. Maurice BOTBOL (b. 1907, d. 12 January 1992) married Hermance ELFASSY sister of Edmond ELFASSY. Maurice was leader of Jewish community in Fez. Inspector of Institutions Israelites after WW2. He modernized the Rabbinical Council (court) and created the Institut Superieur d'Etudes Hebraiques in Rabat in 1948 as part of a network of jewish education.

  4. Messody (Messoudi) BOTBOL (b. 10 September 1910, d. 1991 Pantin) married Haïm ELBAZ (b. 1904, d. 1989) son of Great Rabbi Benyamin ELBAZ of Fes, shochet, mohel (10,000 circumcisions performed without problem). His certificate of circumcision is used as a sort of official birth certificate by many Moroccan jews from Fez now living in Israel. His uncle Moshe Rafael ELBAZ was a learned rabbi from Sefrou. Books published in Israel. Documents are now in Israel. Related to Sam HAMOU son of Jamila ELBAZ sister of Haim ELBAZ.

  5. Sété BOTBOL (b. 1912, d. 1969) married Edmond (Raymond) EL FASSY (b. Mascara, d. October 1999) brother of Hermance

  6. Marcelle Freha BOTBOL (b. 1916, d. 5 January 2001) married Haïm (Emile) MIMRAN
